Hurts.....

I bought the CD Happiness by Hurts, a while ago. It has been a long time since I have liked all the songs on a CD but with Happiness...I love all of them!...I really like the lyrics, I mean ... just read this:

Wonderful Life

On a bridge across the seven on a Saturday night,
Susie meets the man of her dreams.
He says that he got in trouble and if she doesn't mind,
he doesn't want the company.

They share a look in silence and everything is understood.
Susie grabs her man and puts a grip on his hand
as the rain puts a tear in his eye.

The songs are like.. when you're sitting and staring out the window .. and thinking of old times and you feel a bit .... blue but then something happens ....and you don´t feel as blue anymore.....

 

The synthpop band Hurts consists of 2 British guys, the singer Theo Hutchcraft and synth player Adam Anderson. Hurts was founded in 2009 in Manchester or so i have read. Happiness is their debut album and contains a duet with Kylie Minogue entitled "Devotion".

 

I read that they are going to be at these places this summer:  Isle of Wight Festival, Glastonbury Festival, T in the Park, Latitude Festival, V Festival, M'era Luna and Elevation Festival.... Go see them=)
