My house!

A few years ago I bought a house .... a real fixer-upper! No sewage, no running water, no toilets...But i do have electricity! I have 5 rooms, which will become: a kitchen, living room, 2 bedroom and dining room( in Swedish it sounds huge *matsal* but it's really not!). It´s not a big house but when people ask how may rooms there are, they become surprised!


And what has been done? Lets just say: i still have 5 rooms that will become ------ but i hope the bedrooms will get done this summer.  

But we have repaired the foundation, but the floor in the dining room and living room has to be fixed. 2 rooms ( a bathrooms + an extra room), will be built on the back of the house and a porch that goes on one of the short side of the house.



We have also repaired the front of the house. It is perhaps a bit hard to see in the photo but you get an idea how it looks:o)



I have been given a lot things from family and friends, that are scattered all over the place ... I have beds, chairs, a desk, my great-grandmother's dining room furniture (She has been gone many years so it´s nice to have something from her) but do you know what is a dear thing, that is already in my house? My front door! Strange huh? The door is my grandparents' front door, which I got from the new owners of my grandparents house.



There will be a big party when it's finished ... BIG... because people have invited themselves for years to the housewarming party...I really hope they don´t all come at the same time!! So i may need help with planing that!
